3rd Annual Plastic Camera Show

Ah, it's that time again for Rayko's plastic camera show. My image of a corn field in South Dakota, entitled "Our Crop", was chosen for the show. If you were able to check out last year's exhibition, this year's will be much different. Please come out! I'll be pouring wine from 6-9pm at 3rd and Harrison on Friday, February 26th.

First Art Show

Ah! We had an art show, I moved out of my room, and I'm down to one job for the next two weeks. A lot of changes. See photos from the show here.

MFA Thesis Exhibition

I helped Wendy Anne Crittenden install her work at SFSU over the last few days. It was an intense job. We put up a total of 32 panels of wallpaper with wheat paste to form four 10 ft x 10 ft photographs. I'm not only impressed by the scale of the work, but the power. So many possibilities.

The show is opening next Friday, April 17th, at 1pm. Check it out if you're in the area!

2nd Annual International Juried Plastic Camera Show, Part II

Thanks for to the few that came out! It was a pretty packed show and I had a good time. I'm really glad I was apart of it all. Also glad that everything got finished, it was a lot of work. I also intern at RayKo and helped hang the show.

PS. That's my image in the top right of this photo. It was the biggest image of the show, that's for sure.

"Us and Them" has been included in the 2nd Annual International Juried Plastic Camera Show at RayKo Photo Center.

DNSP Exhibition

A good way to start this thing! I got a letter back from Arkansas State's Bradbury Gallery informing me that one of my prints was accepted to the Delta National Small Prints Exhibition. This is the first exhibition that I will be in outside of either a circle of friends or school, I'm excited!



This print will be exhibitied as 11x14 c-prints. They were taken in Phoenix, Oregon this past August while on tour with Litany for the Whale. Our van broke down and this was the place we decided to get it fixed. Ken was a doll.
