I'm going to a funeral today. I haven't been to one since I was seven. My grandpa had died of cancer. He worked for the military most of his life, designing anti-air missiles. You know Nike? Nike was first a missile, he helped design it. It was pouring that day. I sat under a canopy with my mourning family, the only one still young enough to not understand what was happening. Today I'm very aware.
But not of everything. I'm not giving up though; not yet. I can see the light.

This first photo is beautiful. My condolences for you recent lost, but your story of your first funeral was quite poignant. Thanks for sharing.
